About us
Jaranya Foundation
We are a not-for-profit organization in India dedicated to advocating for the rights, dignity, and well-being of senior citizens and the elderly population. Our core focus lies in advocacy, public campaigns, and fundraising initiatives aimed at alleviating the social, economic, and health-related hardships faced by older persons across the country.
In addition to elder welfare, the Foundation actively works on cancer prevention, early detection awareness, and advocate for the availability and procurement of affordable, low-cost cancer screening and treatment machinery, with special emphasis on the vulnerable sections of society. Through awareness campaigns, community outreach, and partnerships with healthcare stakeholders, we strive to promote preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and strengthen policy implementation.
Our Approach
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower and uplift senior citizens by safeguarding their fundamental rights, improving their quality of life, and advocating for effective and inclusive policies. We aim to build a compassionate society where elderly individuals receive the respect, care, and support they deserve, ensuring that no senior citizen is neglected or left vulnerable.
In parallel, our mission includes advancing cancer prevention and early detection awareness, and promoting access to affordable, low-cost cancer diagnostic and treatment infrastructure through policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an inclusive and enabling environment where senior citizens can live with dignity, security, and independence through access to essential resources, stronger legal protections, and responsive governance.
Alongside this, we envision a healthcare ecosystem where cancer prevention, early detection, and affordable screening and treatment technologies are accessible to all, reducing the burden of cancer through timely intervention and equitable healthcare solutions.
